Jared D. Bartell

Attorney Jared D. Bartell has been a member of the defense team at the Law Offices of Manuel J. Barba since 2008.  Mr. Bartell is a graduate of Western State University College of Law, Fullerton, California, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

As an attorney, he completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) DWI Detection Standardized Field Sobriety Practitioner course and is qualified to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  Having this specialized knowledge allows Mr. Bartell to skillfully analyze arrest reports and cross examine arresting officers.

Attorney Jared Bartell received training in Forensic Blood and Urine Analysis as it relates to testing for Alcohol and Drugs, as well as Breath Testing Analysis, by attending various advanced seminars and courses.

Mr. Bartell is also trained in Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) protocols, which again gives him the specialized knowledge necessary to evaluate arrests made by law enforcement officers and skillfully cross-examine them on drug recognition issues.

Mr. Bartell is a member of the National College for DUI Defense as well as the California DUI Lawyers Association.  He understands that DUI cases demand aggressive defense and will fight to make sure that our clients receive the best possible case outcome.

In addition, Attorney Jared Bartell skillfully defends our clients before the Department of Motor Vehicles at Administrative Per Se license suspension hearings. He consistently obtains set asides of the suspension resulting in no loss of driving privileges. Mr. Bartell is one of the few attorneys that regularly and successfully sues the Department of Motor Vehicles in Superior Court when a client’s license is wrongfully suspended at the Administrative Per Se hearing.
